Do you allow pets?
Yes, we do accept both dogs and cats as live-in companions. We ask that they are house-trained, and all pets need approval from the property manager BEFORE being brought home.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, there is a deposit equal to one month’s rent required for move-in. This covers any damage to the property, and will be returned within a week of moving out. There is a standard cleaning fee of 150.00 that is not refundable.
Does it cost to have a pet?
Yes, there is a one-time non-refundable pet deposit of 300.00 for having a furry friend(s) and an additional 25.00 rent per month per pet.
Do I need renter's insurance?
Yes, we do require renter’s insurance to protect you in the event of any damage. All policies require a minimum 100K liability policy with Horizon Homes listed as “additionally insured”.
What if I don't have good credit?

How can I apply to a unit?
We send applications via email inviting prospective renters to apply through RentRedi. Each application includes a background check, income verification, and credit check.
Is there a fee to apply?
There is a 35.00 charge for the background check built in to the application.
What if I'm not planning to move in right away?
We can reserve a unit for up to two weeks with a paid security deposit. If your timeline is further in the future than that, options would be to start your lease early or be on standby until closer to your move-in date. *All deposits used to reserve a property are non-refundable in the event the lease is not carried out.
Can I have friends stay over at my place?
Yes, over night visitors are allowed. This is permitted for up to 2 weeks consecutively after that we would need their contact information on file.
What do you look for for a prospective tenant?
We typically look for credit scores of at least 650 and an income of 3x rent. If you do not meet these conditions that does not automatically mean your application will fail.
